1a) Configure the Windows DHCP server with an IP address reservation for the print server.

How to move mail from OE on Mac OS 9 to Outlook on Windows

Moving mail between computers can be kind of tricky. Especially if you're crossing platforms. Options include:

* Abandoning the mail on the old computer - even though this is an option it is undesirable.

* Copying the mail via IMAP (which changes the received date). Account size limits may require copying the mail in batches. Also losing the received date is a problem.

Toolbox

leer más

How to set up a new user on an existing computer

Assuming Windows is installed and the computer is joined to the domain, follow these steps.

1) Log in with the Domain Administrator account.

2) Add a domain user account to the computer. (Start | Settings | Control Panels | Users). At SFGC, most users are in the restricted Users group.

3) Log in using the user's username and password. If the password is not known, it can be reset on the server.

4) Start Outlook and set it up.

5) Add printers.

6) Configure desktop shortcuts.
