An International service provider of collaborative solutions for software product development, Symphony services last week announced their strategic alliance with company Iron Mountain. With the alliance that is mainly focused on Software Outsourcing the organization will help Iron Mountain to increase their innovative capacity of data storage solutions.
On the other hand Iron Mountain will go to expand their strategic Software Outsourcing with the global provider of collaborative solutions, Symphony that includes Software Development, quality control and testing work. With this Iron Mountain is going to leverage other company’s storage of software expertise by helping to deliver innovative or reliable data protection storage solutions to its significant software clients.
Number of 80 IT-engineers team with the alliance will be dedicated for Iron Mountain within their 2 international operating centre in India city Pune and Bangalore. And Symphony is seeking to acquire the Software Development Organization from China.
President of Symphony's India operations told that "We are seeking for finalizing the deal with end of this year," the organization is also looking forward to set-up a joint venture organization in ice-land Sri Lanka very soon. He also said that in order to cater for the increasing business requirements, we are going to raise the no. of our Software Development professionals from 3,100, to more than 5,000 by the end of the year 2006.
While in near future Iron Mountain will more focus on Mumbai and Pune. Their center of Pune will give more emphasis on Software Product Development. So it will plan to carry the entire product development work from Pune, said senior VP of Iron Mountain.
