Community Guidelines
Adapted in part from the original guidelines on Helping.org's discussions for nonprofits, as well as TechSoup.org's subsequently developed guidelines.

While the Consultant Commons community area is intended to be a virtual space for the open exchange of ideas and experiences, we do have a few simple rules that we ask our users to abide by:

I've posted a draft version of ConComm's Community Guidelines here.  It's meant to be a open process, so if you see something you don't like and want to talk about - then let's talk about it.  I'm sure most of it is common sense, but I'd be suprised if it doesn't raise some important questions.  If things get rolling, we can open a forum; if not, this won't be the last chance to give input, believe me.

This document, currently in Revision2, is now officially in effect here.  This draft version is still available for future discussions around community guidelines.


I'm putting this here, labelled draft, so people have a chance to look it over and comment / edit appropriately.  Since this is not a wiki (yet), please feel free to add information either by editing the book itself or by leaving a comment.
