Views and Reports are the outputs of a database system. Any requirements an organization has to retrieve data from an information management system is considered a view or report. A report typically refers to a formatted view of the data developed for distribution to others (such as printing for meetings). A view is a more expansive category that includes any look at the data (flipping through database screens to find contact information is a view for instance).
