Welcome! We have finally launched the new site design which includes a number of new features. Below is a summary of what's new and how things have changed from the 'beta' version.

Working Groups

To better organize the site content and encourage member contribution, we've moved from a category and forum structure to using Working Groups.

We've implemented Drupal's Organic Groups module to create Working Groups which have the following features:

• Group email notifications and RSS feeds - subscribers can receive email notifications of new content and comments to the group. To sign up for notifications or subscribe to a group RSS feed, use the links provided under 'Group notifications' in the right sidebar when viewing a group page.
• Groups specific tags - the 'beta' site categories have been moved to our initial groups to make it easy for members to find 'beta' content.
• Group 'Recommended Posts' - group admins can mark specific posts to be listed under 'Recommended Posts' in the right sidebar.
• Group specific events with a group calendar.

Support for English and Spanish content - the site now has multi-lingual capability, which we are still in the process of fully implementing. We're in need a few spanish translation volunteers, so let us know [1] if you're interested in helping out.

Member profiles - We've added profile fields and Google maps functionality for identifying member locations. Add your location here [2].

Features of the 'beta' site are still with us!

• Site Members can post comments and create posts and events
• Relevant "Nonprofit Technology" feeds are aggregated and shown in the News Aggregator menu in the left sidebar
• Site content can be easily searched, with improved advanced features such as searching by Tag/Category
• An 'all posts' page, similar to the 'beta' home page is available here [3].
